Stadhampton Primary School is a popular choice among parents, both within and outside the school’s catchment area. We follow the current Local Authority admissions policy, details of which can be found in the ‘Starting School’ publication issued each year by Oxfordshire County Council. Prospective parents are advised to register their interest with the school as early as possible. The number of pupils we are able to admit into our Foundation Stage class is 15.
We currently offer all children who are eligible to start school (i.e. those who have reached their fourth birthday on or before 31st August in the year of their application) a full-time place from the first day of term in September of that same year. These children enter a dedicated Foundation Stage class, based in our Early Years Foundation Stage Unit adjacent to the main school building. This Early Years Partnership comprises ourselves and Little Bears Pre-School, both of which are housed in purpose built premises.
Parents considering sending their child to Stadhampton Primary School are encouraged to visit beforehand. For this purpose an annual Open Morning is held early in the autumn term, in conjunction with Little Bears Pre-School. Parents who have registered their interest in the school will automatically receive an invitation to the Open Morning. The Headteacher, and members of the School Governing Body, will be available to talk to prospective parents atthis time.

Children are admitted into school in accordance with Oxfordshire County Council admissions arrangements which are published on the County Council website
