School Office Administrator

Contract/Hours: Permanent. Part-time

Salary Type: Support Staff

Salary Details: Grade 6 Point 10 - £20,751 pro rata

Hours of Work: 25 -30 hours per week, term time only. Monday to Friday, hours to be agreed but to be between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm

Location of Role: Based at Stadhampton school

Job/Person Summary

Required for September, an enthusiastic School Office Administrator. This position is in our busy school office, working alongside our part time Administrative Assistant and School Business Manager. The post involves providing support to the Headteacher, school leadership team and teaching staff as well as covering reception.  The individual should be customer-service focused as they are often the first point of contact for parents and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel. The role involves managing the school management systems - training will be provided for this.

The successful candidate will need to have good communication skills and relate well to children and adults whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to be flexible and work under pressure to deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism. The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a strong team as well as independently.
