Forest School
At Stadhampton Primary School, we teach Forest School to provide children with hands-on, outdoor learning experiences that foster curiosity, independence, and a connection with nature. Forest School allows children to take measured risks, solve problems creatively, and develop resilience in a safe and supportive environment. Our approach is child-led, giving children the freedom to explore, investigate, and collaborate while engaging with the natural world. Through activities such as building shelters, identifying plants and wildlife, and using tools responsibly, children develop practical skills, confidence, and a sense of responsibility for their environment. By integrating Forest School into our curriculum, we aim to nurture well-rounded learners who value teamwork, respect for nature, and lifelong learning.
