Meet the Team!
Headteacher – Miss E Charnock
I have been the Headteacher at Stadhampton Primary School since September 2019. I have over twenty-five years’ experience working mostly in village primary schools and a period of time as an associate university lecturer. After studying at Roehampton Institute, I completed my National Professional Qualification for Headship in 2003 and in 2013 won a National Science Teacher of the Year award which led to being inducted as a Fellow of the Primary Science Teaching Trust. I have just completed my master’s degree in Leadership and Management in Education and am a parent governor and director of Lord Williams’s School Academy Trust in Thame. My vision is to lead Stadhampton to become a thriving learning community that enquires, enjoys and excels. I enjoy travelling, especially to Italy, going on long walks with my family and cooking.
Ladybird Class Teacher - Mrs N Stafford
I joined Stadhampton Primary School in September 2016, teaching in Ladybird Class, home to reception age children. It is a pleasure and privilege to teach the youngest children in the School and to be a part of an amazing and dedicated staff team. I am also the School SENDCo and have recently completed the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leaders. When not at school I enjoy spending time with my family which includes two gorgeous, lively dogs and three grown-up children. I am also an avid reader and like reading a good crime book, my favourite author being Agatha Christie.
Dragonflies Class Teacher - Mrs I Wahid
Hello! I joined the Stadhampton team in 2017 as a supply teacher initially in years 5 and 6. I loved the school and community so much, I decided to stay! I moved to Oxfordshire from Teesside, though I am born and raised in Yorkshire. I feel blessed to be able to help nurture young minds and am passionate about making learning accessible for all pupils.
I live with my husband, two year old son and our two mischievous cats Luna and Phoenix who we adopted from a Stadhampton family. I enjoy travelling, reading literature from diverse authors and spending time in nature.
Dragonflies Class Teacher - Miss E Morgan (Maternity Leave)
After graduating from Oxford Brookes University in 2021, I joined Stadhampton Primary School to begin my teaching career. Teaching has been my dream job for as long as I can remember, and I couldn’t wait to get started. Fast-forward three years, and I still absolutely love it. When I’m not teaching, you can find me enjoying walks, spending time with my friends, and being with my family.
Setting goals has always been something I’m passionate about. When I was younger, drama was my hobby, and I was fortunate enough to perform ‘Oliver!’ at the Drury Lane Theatre — an amazing experience. Performing in front of such a large crowd was incredible.
In secondary school, I was always involved in after-school sports clubs, and when I had the chance, I jumped at the opportunity to try rowing. I loved it so much that my biggest dream quickly became to row for Great Britain. I trained hard, never gave up, and eventually, my dream became a reality when I won gold for Great Britain in 2017. Words can’t describe how proud I was, and I truly believe that anyone can achieve anything they set their mind to.
Dragonflies Trainee Teacher - Mrs H Mason-Cook
Hello! I began my Stadhampton Primary journey as a parent when my eldest began Reception. I joined as the School Administrator in 2019. I now have three children attending school here, as well as a two year old. I am also a TA in school, currently based in Ladybird class. Outside of school, I am studying in my final year of a Psychology degree - choosing child psychology and children's studies as my specialism. I am also a volunteer youth worker. Prior to joining school, I worked in a setting as a play worker, and I am hoping to use my degree to train in play therapies and children's counselling.
Aside from working with children and being a mum; I love baking, football, reading and getting muddy on walks/adventures!
Hedgehogs Class Teaching Assistant - Mrs V Venner
Dragonflies Class Teaching Assistant - Mrs L Blackmore
Linda has been working in education for the best part of 20 years, 10 of which were as a teacher in adult education. She completed her early years degree in 2010 and has now joined Stadhampton Primary School as a Teaching Assistant.
Linda was a trustee of Little bears pre-school, where you may have met her before. She has a daughter in year 5 at the school, where she is very involved in school life. You may also see her providing wrap-around care and in other classrooms.
Outside of school, Linda is an avid gym goer. She has an allotment where she grows her own vegetables & she makes jam from fruits grown on her plum tree. She has also volunteered at the local food bank & children's centre in recent months.
Hedgehog Class Teacher - Miss L Church
I have recently graduated from Oxford Brookes University and feel incredibly lucky to be starting my teaching career at Stadhampton. I grew up in Kent, but fell in love with Oxford during my time at University. Prior to completing my degree, I worked for 2 years in a girls’ boarding school in Salisbury.
When not in the classroom, you will often find me on the river as I am a keen member of Oxford Amateur Rowing Club. I like to keep myself busy and thoroughly enjoy rowing and being part of a choir, alongside spending time with friends and family.
Spanish Teacher and Dragonflies Class Teaching Assistant - Mrs T Godall
Born and raised in Spain, I have had a passion for languages from a very early age and graduated from the University of Barcelona with a degree in English and a teacher-training qualification to teach English at Spanish secondary-school level.
I was delighted to join Stadhampton Primary School in 2018, with its wonderful children and nurturing members of staff, after having worked in the translation sector for many years and having taught Spanish both privately and for the county council.
I enjoy reading, going to the cinema and the theatre, relaxing with my embroidery, cooking and spending time with my family and friends. I absolutely love the outdoors and I walk, run or cycle most days; I have also hiked up Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike and have cycled the length of Devon and even to Holland! I find visiting new places, getting immersed in different cultures and learning about what the world and its people have to offer truly exhilarating.
Otter Class Teaching Assistant - Mrs M Allen
I moved to Stadhampton 4 years ago after working as a Teaching Assistant for 32 years in Gloucestershire. Over the last 18 months, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with and watching the children progress at Stadhampton Primary School. Along with 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren, which keeps me busy, I enjoy reading, walking and going away in my caravan.
Otter Class Teacher - Mrs L Ecclefield
I started teaching at Stadhampton Primary School in September 2020, where I taught Dragonflies. Fast forward to 2024, a brief break due to a move from Oxfordshire to Essex and back again, I’m now teaching Otter class which I’m loving!
I live with my husband, my 2-year-old daughter, Maia, and my fur baby, Boris. When I’m not at school you will find me exploring new places, spending time with my loved ones and attending the odd Zumba class here or there!
Otter Class Teaching Assistant - Mrs D Shortman
I have worked in school since 2006 having started in the kitchen when on-site school dinners were reinstated. I then switched role to teaching assistant when a full-time position became vacant. I have assisted across all key stage classes and am presently working in Hedgehog Class.
Outside of school, I enjoy cooking and gardening and have been a leader in the Scout Association for over 35 years.
Forest School Leader - Mrs K Poolman
After 35 years of teaching in primary schools, including class teaching all ages, Special Educational provision, Modern Foreign Languages Coordinator for the Wheatley Partnership and music enthusiast in several schools, it is now a privilege to concentrate on my great passion and teach outdoors. I trained as a Forest School leader 3 years ago and have not looked back. Love seeing all that energy and enthusiasm in the children, alongside being outdoors in all seasons, all weathers. I currently work as a tutor at Hill End Outdoor Education Centre, leading school visits plus adult sessions for team building and wellbeing.
When not playing in the woods, I can often be found in the theatre, either working (front of house), rehearsing or performing (member of Oxford Operatic Society).
Mrs R Geller - Office Manager
Entering my second year working in education, I have been involved for many years with my children’s pre-school and primary school settings in a treasurer and PTA capacity. I have a strong background in property management, having worked in the sector for over 20 years, for the last 10 years independently whilst raising a family. I work closely with the office team overseeing the day-to-day operations, health and safety compliance, finance and HR and just about anything else that gets thrown our way on a school day!
Outside of school, I am a mum to two busy children and a Level 2 England Netball coach. I also enjoy travelling, music and going to the theatre.
Mrs L Scragg - School Administrator
I have been involved with Stadhampton School for many years, both as a parent and an employee. In my current role, I work with the rest of the office team to manage the day-to-day school operations, particularly focusing on ensuring compliance across our estate and maintaining our Health and Safety systems and processes. As required, I also provide teaching assistant support, train our pupils in hockey, attend forest school and love going on the year 5 and 6 residential! I'm also told I make the best brownies!
