Dragonflies

Dragonflies Class Teacher - Miss Morgan
After graduating from Oxford Brookes University in 2021, I joined Stadhampton Primary School to begin my teaching career. Teaching has been my dream job for as long as I can remember, and I couldn’t wait to get started. Fast forward three years, and I still absolutely love it. When I’m not teaching, you can find me enjoying walks, spending time with my friends, and being with my family.
Setting goals has always been something I’m passionate about. When I was younger, drama was my hobby, and I was fortunate enough to perform ‘Oliver!’ at the Drury Lane Theatre — an amazing experience. Performing in front of such a large crowd was incredible.
In secondary school, I was always involved in after-school sports clubs, and when I had the chance, I jumped at the opportunity to try rowing. I loved it so much that my biggest dream quickly became to row for Great Britain. I trained hard, never gave up, and eventually, my dream became a reality when I won gold for Great Britain in 2017. Words can’t describe how proud I was, and I truly believe that anyone can achieve anything they set their mind to.
Dragonflies Class Teaching Assistant-Mrs Lucy Ellis
I moved from SE London to Stadhampton with my family in 2007. Both my sons attended Stadhampton Primary school benefitting from the small year group sizes and rotation of being the oldest and youngest year group in the class. Since moving to the village, I have been associated with the school as a parent, PTA member and volunteer reader. After a few years as a Playworker at Chalgrove and Watlington Children’s Centre, I joined the staff in 2015 as an SEN Teaching Assistant working 1:1 and with small groups. Having previously been the class TA in Otters, I am now thoroughly enjoying helping Hedgehog class to grow and learn.
Outside of school I enjoy running, swimming and walking our dog, Parkin. Should I get a chance to sit down for long enough (!) I love reading and completing word puzzles.
