Dragonflies

Dragonfly Class Teacher (Tuesday - Friday) – Mrs I Wahid

Hello! I joined the Stadhampton team in 2017 as a supply teacher initially in years 5 and 6. I loved the school and community so much, I decided to stay! I moved to Oxfordshire from Teesside, though I am born and raised in Yorkshire. I feel blessed to be able to help nurture young minds and am passionate about making learning accessible for all pupils.

I live with my husband, one year old son and our two mischievous cats Luna and Phoenix who we adopted from a Stadhampton family. I enjoy travelling, reading literature from diverse authors and spending time in nature.

Dragonfly Class Teacher (Monday)- Mrs T Manzie

My involvement with Stadhampton Primary School began many years ago when my children first attended the school and I volunteered in class and on the PTA. I soon became a part-time teacher teaching PE and RE in every class in the school. I was then fortunate to be able to settle with teaching fulltime in KS1.

In 2019, with my family having grown up, it was time to leave and help look after my grand-daughter as well as pursue my hobbies. The break did not last long as I returned to help out with some supply teaching or helping support small groups or individuals. It is now my pleasure to share the Dragonflies class with Mrs Wahid for one day a week. I get to teach one of my favourite subjects which is science, as I am also a fan of nature and the wonder of the world around us. There is still some time for my hobbies: knitting, crochet, sewing, baking, gardening, reading, walking and trips away when it is possible.

Hedgehog Class Learning Assistant - Mrs D Shortman

I have worked in school since 2006 having started in the kitchen when on-site school dinners were reinstated. I then switched role to teaching assistant when a full-time position became vacant. I have assisted across all key stage classes and am presently working in Hedgehog Class.

Outside of school, I enjoy cooking and gardening and have been a leader in the Scout Association for over 35 years.
