Mrs K Poolman - Forest School Leader

After 35 years teaching in primary schools, including class teaching all ages, Special Educational provision, Modern Foreign Languages Coordinator for the Wheatley Partnership and music enthusiast in several schools, it is now a privilege to concentrate on my great passion and teach outdoors. I trained as a Forest School leader 3 years ago and have not looked back. Love seeing all that energy and enthusiasm in the children, alongside being outdoors in all seasons, all weathers. I currently work as a tutor at Hill End Outdoor Education Centre, leading school visits plus adult sessions for team building and wellbeing.

When not playing in the woods, I can often be found in the theatre, either working  (front of house), rehearsing or performing (member of Oxford Operatic Society).
